Fair weather on the beach

On the beach late afternoon,
weather's not perfect but good enough.
Memory's not perfect, sun tanning without
sunglasses nor sunblock. Welcome respite,
now cooler under the shade
of something bigger than you and me:
tsunami.

This big bad body of water,
Crashes her big bad waves on me!
Slaps me with her big bad waves!
There's been a better way
of bathing me: in my tub, in my house...
